Presente Simple

El Presente Simple se usa para hablar de hábitos, rutinas diarias, hechos generales y verdades universales.

¿Cuándo usar el Presente Simple?

El Presente Simple se usa para:

  • 💼 Hábitos y rutinas: I eat breakfast every day
  • 📚 Hechos generales: Water boils at 100°C
  • 🎯 Verdades universales: The Earth is round
  • 🕐 Horarios fijos: The train leaves at 6 PM
  • ❤️ Estados permanentes: I love chocolate
Conjugación - Verbos regulares:
Persona Verbo base + s/es Ejemplo

Reglas para añadir -s/-es:
+ s

Most verbs: work → works

play → plays

study → studies

+ es

Verbs ending in: o, s, x, z, ch, sh

go → goes

watch → watches

finish → finishes

Verbs ending in consonant + y

study → studies

fly → flies

💡 Consejos importantes
  • Para he/she/it: añade -s/-es al verbo base
  • Para I/you/we/they: el verbo no cambia
  • En negativo: don't (I/you/we/they) / doesn't (he/she/it)
  • En preguntas: Do (I/you/we/they) / Does (he/she/it)
