Zero & First Conditional
¿Qué son los conditionales Zero y First?
Los conditionales expresan situaciones hipotéticas. El Zero Conditional habla de verdades universales, y el First Conditional de situaciones probables en el futuro.
Zero Conditional - Hechos científicos y verdades:
Estructura
If + Present Simple,
Present Simple
If you heat water to 100°C,
it boils
Ejemplos
If you mix red and blue,
you get purple
If it rains, the ground gets wet
If you don't eat, you get hungry
First Conditional - Situaciones probables:
Estructura
If + Present Simple,
will + infinitivo
If it rains tomorrow,
I will stay home
Ejemplos
If I win the lottery,
I will buy a house
If she studies hard,
she will pass the exam
If we don't leave now,
we will miss the train
Diferencias clave:

Condicional con "unless" (a menos que):
Unless = If not
If you don't study, you will fail
= Unless you study, you will fail
If it doesn't rain, we will go out
= Unless it rains, we will go out

💡 Consejos importantes
- Zero Conditional: if + present, present (hechos científicos)
- First Conditional: if + present, will + infinitive (situaciones probables)
- Podemos invertir el orden: "Will you stay home if it rains?"
- "Unless" significa "a menos que" (= if not)
