Present Perfect vs Past Simple

La diferencia crucial entre estos dos tiempos: Past Simple para acciones completadas en el pasado, Present Perfect para conectar pasado con presente.

¿Cuál es la diferencia principal?

La diferencia está en la conexión con el presente:

  • Past Simple: Acción completada en el pasado (tiempo terminado)
  • 🔗 Present Perfect: Conexión entre pasado y presente (tiempo continuo)

  • Past Simple: yesterday, last week, in 2010, at 5 PM
  • Present Perfect: ever, never, since, for, just, already, yet
  • Si hay tiempo específico → Past Simple
  • Si conecta pasado con presente → Present Perfect
  • Experiencias de vida → Present Perfect
🎯 Regla clave

Past Simple responde "¿Cuándo?" (tiempo específico), Present Perfect responde a si algo ha ocurrido o no en la vida del hablante.
